JD's Corner logo design

This is a recent logo design of mine, done for a client opening up a corner neighborhood bar. I wanted to create something bold so as to be instantly recognizable and easily read from a distance.

St. Louis Seen and Unseen photo essay book

This was the most extensive project that I have been a part of while at Studio X. On the project I was officially the Assistant Photo-Editor, but when there's only two guys doing all of the production for a 160 page photo-essay book, the job description tends to expand. The project definitely boosted my Photoshop and InDesign experience, as they were the primary applications used, and also introduced me to a whole new set of creative professionals. More information on the specifics of the project can be found at stlouisillustrated.com/ and stlouisseenandunseen.com/

South Grand Blvd. 2007 Brochure

One of my latest pieces is a brochure that I designed while at Studio X this spring. The brochure promotes the street-level shops and restaurants that make up the South Grand Business District.

Forest Park Social Norms Campaign

During my second internship with Creative.comm I lead a team of designers and P.R. writers on a campaign aimed at elevating awareness of focussed social norms particular to the Forest Park campus of St. Louis Community College on Oakland Avenue. The percentages derive from a survey by the American College Health Association taken by 987 students, and the three chosen met certain criteria determined by client. The campaign consisted of a central poster, the design of which followed through three newspaper ads (each focusing on one of the three percentages), a bookmark with helpline numbers on the backside, and an informational brochure (not shown).

Vibe Energy Drink advertisements

This was part of a series of ads I did for a fictitious company. I am drawn to the energy that the piece purveys. The can is completely drawn in Illustrator.

Vexel Vizuals promo flyer

This is a flyer I did a while back to promote me freelance work. I like the type treatment and find it more interesting because of the interaction of the reader as they rotate the piece to read the type.

Wedding Pofessionals Networking Party invitation

The production piece was wrapped with red tissue paper before being stuffed into the envelope; it gave it a nice contrast and a warm feel.
